WebGL - Beyond the DOM

The web was built on documents rendered using the DOM (Document Object Model.) WebGL opens up a whole new class of applications that are beyond the DOM with gaming, art, and entire virtual worlds. This talk dives into the basics of how WebGL works with a live coding demo showing off the basics of shaders.

Running the example

• You need both npm and git, then run the following from the command line.
• git clone git@github.com:gregtatum/talk-webgl-beyond-dom.git
• cd talk-webgl-beyond-dom
• npm install
• npm start
