⚖️ Legal & EULA Compliance

By downloading, installing, or using Butter Launcher, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to be bound by the Hytale End-User License Agreement (EULA).

Why is Butter Launcher legal? We strictly adhere to the "Legally Binding Terms" set forth by Hypixel Studios:

Interoperability Rights (Section 4.2):

"Nothing in this EULA limits your rights... to conduct reverse engineering solely... to achieve interoperability between the Game and independently created software."

Butter Launcher is independently created software designed to achieve interoperability with the Game, operating strictly within these bounds to provide cross-platform compatibility and advanced local management.
No Illegal Distribution (Section 3.3):

"You may not distribute the Game (in whole or in part)..."

Butter Launcher does not host, redistribute, or bundle the Hytale game client, binaries, or source code. It acts as a management tool that downloads files directly from official sources or manages your existing local installation.
Modding Philosophy (Section 3.1): We support the community's creativity by providing tools to manage Mods, plugins, and custom content as encouraged by the official guidelines.
